Pancetta

Wikipedia defines pancetta as "an Italian bacon made of pork belly meat that is salt cured and spiced with black pepper and sometimes other spices." It adds that in Italy, it's often consumed raw.

'Pancetta' is a diminutive of the Italian word for 'belly'.

The question sheet gave "cured pork" as an alternative answer, adding "you get the idea!" – making it OK to accept anything that was in the right area.
